Welcome Aboard! Food, fun, and entertainment awaits as we depart our pickup locations for a relaxing ride towards Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Today is all about the anticipation of our next few days. First, we will make a stop as we cross into Wisconsin at the Dickeyville Grotto & Shrine for a chance to stretch our legs. We will be making a stop in the Green Bay region before checking into our en route hotel for a good night’s rest. (Included Meals: None)
As we check-out and enjoy an included breakfast this morning, we set our sights on the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. As we arrive in Sault Ste Marie, we will have some free time to explore this quaint little town and find a bite to eat before we depart on the Famous Soo Locks Boat Tour. Upon returning from our boat tour, we’ll make our way towards the Mackinac Bridge where we will meet our local step-on-guide for a brief history of the bridge before checking into our Mackinaw City Hotel for the next 3 nights. (Included Meals: B)
As we enjoy another included breakfast this morning, we prepare our minds to learn all about this historic city. We start our day by meeting our step-onguide for a great tour of Mackinaw City followed by some free time to explore the Mackinaw Crossings & Downtown. Enjoy some lunch at the many local restaurants this area has before departing for the historic Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse and Colonial Michilimackinac. This evening we will enjoy and included dinner and Gordon Lightfoot Tribute show. (Included Meals: B, D)
After enjoying another included breakfast, we’ll make our way to the Ferry Boat and travel to Mackinac Island. Upon arrival, we’ll be treated to a guided Horse Drawn Carriage Ride tour around the tourist part of the island. Upon completion of the tour, we will have free time to explore the many wonders of the island and get some lunch on our own and one of the many local restaurants. The afternoon we will make our way back to the mainland and enjoy an included dinner before taking in the Jack Pine Lumberjack Show. (Included Meals: B, D)
This morning as we enjoy our included breakfast, we say our goodbyes to Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island. Following check-out, we make our way to Frankenmuth (Michigan’s Little Bavaria). Upon arrival in town, we’ll enjoy a Wine Tasting before having a private City Tour with a local step-on-guide. Following the tour, we will enjoy an included authentic German Style meal before departing for our en route hotel. (Included Meals: B, L)
As we check-out and enjoy another included breakfast, we hit the road running with our sights set on Iowa. Today, we’ll make our way towards home stopping at the all new Hard Rock Casino in Northwest Indiana for some entertainment and lunch on our own. After we depart it is time to reminisce on what a great tour it has been.
